I believe there is a Universal intelligence that is all knowing. I call this Divine Presence, God.
To me, this Presence feels like Home and when I am Home, I feel…
In this space, I acknowledge that this Universal Intelligence is a divine power greater than me and I trust in the knowing.
Yet, there have been times, in my past, when I have experienced what I like to call spiritual amnesia.
Spiritual amnesia is a departure from Home. It is a time when spiritual practices wane and the ego edges God out. And when the ego is in charge, you spend lots of time wandering in circles, repeating mistakes, muscling your way through life. It is a very disconnected existence.
However, I believe there is a lesson in every experience.
Even now, I am grateful for the lessons that moments of spiritual amnesia taught me.
I learned that God’s vision is far greater that my limited vision.
I learned to honor my intuition because when I don’t, life breaks.
I learned how to be spiritually disciplined, consistent, and persistent.
I learned trust and know that when it is divinely-intended for me to follow a certain path, there will be signs, intuitive nudges, dreams, and synchronicities that appear in a way I can clearly understand.
Most importantly, I learned that when God speaks, guides, leads… it feels undeniably good and right and everything else is not my truth.
Did these lessons come easy? No.
Does it take discipline to have Faith when challenges persist too long and threaten to become permanent? A resounding YES!
However, there is no higher outcome than trusting Divine Intelligence.
When you learn to lead with God, miracles spontaneously occur, in the divine right time.
All prayers are answered.
So, what has been your experience? Have you ever had moments of spiritual amnesia?
